Recorded voice claimed ro be HMRC and stated that I was to be fined. What low life will do this and what do they expect to achieve? Come on HMRC, contact Ofcom (and BT?) and do something about it.

Same as others - recorded message stating HMRC starting a case against me (without even knowing who they were speaking to) and press 1 to speak to case handler. Hung up on scammer.
