'Alex' rang to say he was calling from Windows about my computer. I asked why would he be ringing me when he has nothing to do with my computer, and then told him I would not be giving any bank details to him! SCAMMER!

Scam ...... saying there's a problem/virus on your computer ...... try to gain access and ask for your bank details so for a fee (around £70 they can "fix it"!hozax

Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed). Threatened to block my connection. I told him where to go
